Spring 2020 will be a time we will never forget. Hotel Alcron, one of the top hotels in Prague has always been able to keep its doors open to guests. However, this year’s April and May have changed a lot.
Takeaway from our La Rotonde restaurant
We responded to the closure of the hotel by launching a food delivery service from our La Rotonde restaurant throughout Prague and beyond. As part of this special offer, you will find both fresh and frozen specialities and, finally, our own bottled cocktails, prepared by bartenders in the newly renovated Be Bop bar.
Our food delivery service is still up-to-date, and we will be happy to take care of your lunch directly in the office or deliver your dinner after a busy day.
After the forced closure, we are ready once again to accommodate our guests in the luxurious environment of one of the most famous 5-star hotels in the centre of Prague. Many things have changed, and we have had to adapt.
Because the health and safety of both our guests and employees is an indisputable priority for us, we regularly and consistently disinfect all areas, even with an ozone generator. Today, we carry out the entire check-in process in a touchless way.
All of course in a way, so that our guests are bothered as little as possible and can only enjoy the beauty of not only our hotel, located in Prague’s number one district next to Wenceslas Square, but above all the beauties of our capital.
We want you to be able to enjoy Prague and our great services with the whole family, which is why we have prepared a special offer of family rooms for you. These rooms are interconnected and can comfortably accommodate up to four members of your clan.
Once again, we can also welcome you to our legendary weekend brunch. It starts every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 and now also on Saturday evenings from 6.30pm.
If you won’t go to bed too soon, our famed Be Bop Bar is here for you! After the reconstruction, completed in March this year, we look forward to seeing you in the beautiful interior, which is still furnished in Art Deco style, so typical for our Hotel. Our bartenders are already looking forward to mixing one of their refined „Be“ cocktails!
The streets of Prague have also changed, slowed down and you can look forward to quiet walks through the other-times crowded city center, very reasonable prices right on the Old Town Square and beautiful sunsets viewed from Vyšehrad.
The Vyšehrad Chapter is a place where not every visitor will go, yet it is a famous place that stood at the beginning of the founding of our capital city. It offers breathtaking views, a gallery, a beautiful park and, last but not least, the legendary Slavín cemetery. A place where we can bow down before the biggest names of the past.
Most of Prague’s galleries and museums have reopened. For families with boys both small and big, it is certainly worth mentioning the National Technical Museum located right in the heart of one of the largest parks in Prague – Letná.
If you prefer fauna and flora to engines and gears, the Prague ZOO has already opened its gates to visitors as well. Prague ZOO, which is rated as the 5th best in the world, also boasts a novelty, which is Darwin’s crater, whose most important inhabitant is certainly the Tasmanian Devil.
We hope you have endured the recent restrictions in good condition. Our whole team is already looking forward to your arrival. Come and help us continue writing the history of our hotel!
