PRAGUE IN JULY

July brings high temperatures and lots of sunshine which calls for a great variety of outside activities. Let us mention at least a few so you know what to look forward to.

FOR MUSIC LOVERS

Open Air Festival Ledarny Branik hosts concerts of famous bands and singers such as Jelen on the 13th of July, Monkey Business on the 15th, or David Koller on the 28th of July. “Vzhuru na palubu” is another unique project which includes series of concerts scheduled throughout July that you can enjoy from a boat while sailing. Another very popular music event is called SOUND Open Air 2021 and takes place at Krizikova Fountain at Vystaviste Praha. Several foreign headliners, as well as domestic ones, will perform during this two-day festival starting on the 29th of July.

FOR DRINK LOVERS

During these hot days, there is nothing better than refreshing yourself with our chilled homemade lemonades. Relax on the cozy terrace of the luxurious La Rotonde restaurant or at our newly renovated Be Bop Bar where you might stick around for the famous signature cocktails until late at night. Only a few minutes by walk from our 5-star Alcron Hotel you will reach Naplavka. If you make it there on the 10th of July, you can enjoy the biggest cider festival in the Czech Republic.

FOR FOOD LOVERS

How about surprising your loved one with a picnic in a park? It will be our pleasure to help you make it happen. Our team of chefs and bartenders put their heads and hands together and created a wonderful picnic box full of delicacies that you can order with us at any time of the day. Sundays at our luxurious Alcron Hotel are dedicated to brunches at the Art Deco La Rotonde restaurant. Enjoy unlimited consumption of delicate drinks and dishes prepared right in front of you. Due to its popularity, we recommend booking your table ahead of time. You can do so online or by contacting us anytime.

If you fancy international food together with some good entertainment, do not miss the traditional French market that is held annually at Kampa. You can buy delicious French specialties and traditional products, taste different wines while listening to live music. This year, the French market starts on the 13th and lasts until the 18th of July. On the 24th of July, Prague’s Naplavka will turn into an exotic open-air street food festival with restaurants and stalls serving fresh fish, burgers, sweet desserts, or typical African or Asian street food.

FOR CULTURE LOVERS

A week-long festival “Za dveřmi” starts on the 8th of July and consists of about 35 different street art performances that you can watch in the center of Prague or at Vystaviste. It is an ongoing festival, which started in Western Europe and its main aim is to bring joy to the streets of the biggest cities.

And there is much more we can recommend and arrange for you. The entire month is full of entertaining events. Use the opportunity to compensate for the time you spent in lock-down and the popular Alcron Hotel would be so happy to be part of it!
