PRAGUE IN MARCH

Even the last leftovers of snow that covered Prague’s highest points have melted. Winter can linger and the city can still get the occasional snowflake this month, but the jolly springtime is irreversibly knocking on the door and the weather is pleasantly warming.

THIS MONTH WE ARE BACK AT YOUR SERVICE!
Our beautiful city is awaking from the peaceful winter sleep as well as luxurious Alcron Hotel is returning to life and opening its doors to visitors after being closed for more than one month. You can look forward to delicious meals prepared by our new executive chef Lukas Hlavacek, who is now in charge of our fine dining restaurant, La Rotonde. Our talented bartenders are excited to serve their entertaining signature cocktails at the popular Be Bop Bar. The entire professional staff of the famous Alcron Hotel will be honored to welcome you at our property and provide you with the most memorable customer service, for which our hotel has been awarded multiple times. We will be back at your service from 8th of March – morning, noon or night!

ADMIRE THE MAGIC OF PRAGUE FROM THE OUTSIDE
We hope that the gates to the Prague Castle will open soon and guards will return to their guardhouses. In case you travel to Prague while the tourist attractions are still closed, do not worry. Prague never falls into despair and there is still no shortage of places to go. You can feast your eyes on the outside beauty of Prague’s most famous tourist sights, magnificent architecture and Art Nouveau buildings with remarkable facades. Prague itself seems a work of art and without crowds, it has now become a photographer’s delight.

EXPLORE THE NATURAL WILDERNESS HIDDEN IN CENTRAL BOHEMIA
You can also take a trip to the nature and hike the beautiful Brdy hills. Brdy are breath-taking forested highlands, the perfect place to take an active rest day and get to know a wild nature nearby Prague, whether on the bike or on foot. Worth mentioning for the stunning views is the meteorological tower located on the Praha Hill or the Padrt Ponds, charming place to relax by water. Furthermore, by the end of this month you will have 13 hours of daylight to enjoy all the outdoor sights! For more recommendations and further information regarding your stay and activities in Prague, you can reach out to us via phone, email, Facebook or Instagram and we will be more than happy to help.

ALCRON’S TALE… TO BE CONTINUED
It has been almost a year since we have got to basically pull every lever we had to limp through the tough times that have affected all the accommodation providers. Our historical Alcron Hotel survived the Second World War and the socialist era. Now, the coronavirus pandemic has become the third major challenge which we are going to overcome. We would like to ask you to keep your fingers crossed for us so this chapter of Alcron’s tale will soon be just a part of its long history. It is hard to predict what the next month will bring to the travel industry. Nevertheless, we strongly believe that our perseverance and hope will reward us with a brighter future. In the meantime, we will be preparing our legendary Alcron Hotel and its popular outlets for the upcoming Easter season and your visit.
