PRAGUE IN NOVEMBER

Take a deep breath of crisp air and pull out your cozy sweater because November is the onset of winter in Prague. As the weather gets colder, the number of indoor activities increases. With Christmas just around the corner, winter is the most magical season in the city loaded with so many things to do that will keep you entertained and warm.

ON THE 11th OF NOVEMBER ST. MARTIN RIDES IN ON A WHITE HORSE

According to this Czech old saying, we can expect the first snow already on the 11th, but of course, we should not rely on it. However, what we can definitely count on this day is that St. Martin brings to Naplavka St. Martin’s Festival & Roast Goose. You can look forward to sampling a great variety of young wines, goose and duck delicacies, and accompanying musical programs.

BIG CHANGES ARE COMING IN NOVEMBER

In 1989 November did not bring just cold weather to the city but also a significant change and a milestone in Czech history. On the 17th we celebrate the most important of all Czech holidays, Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day, which marks the start of the Velvet Revolution.
